This yummy specimen of man meat’s look is reminiscent of  the very handsome Cary Grant of old Hollywood films.

Mad Men Season 5 finally has a premiere date! That is, if you believe star Jon Hamm.

The actor, 40, announced Friday during comic Doug Benson’s podcast, Doug Loves Movies, that the AMC drama would return on March 25. The network could not confirm the airdate.

But the date makes sense since it is a Sunday (Mad Men‘s longtime home) and comes a week after The Walking Dead‘s season finale. Mad Men hasn’t aired new episodes since October 2010, due in part to lengthy negotiations for Seasons 5 and 6 between series creator Matthew Weiner and AMC.

Hamm, who won a Golden Globe award for his performance in 2008, directed the Season 5 premiere.

Maybe the moviegoing public decided that they wanted their men infantilized. Jon Hamm : Even when I was young, I didn’t look particularly young. I was 24 then and, whenever I’d go in for an audition, they’d say, ‘You’re too old. We need these guys to look like teenagers. You could maybe come back and audition for the dad. Jon Hamm : (on the death of her mother) You deal with it the best you can although obviously you’re not equipped to really deal with it. I denied it for as long as I could, and it all came out 10 years later in terrible behavior and acting out. It was a traumatic thing to happen. It’s your mother, and mothers should be around for awhile. If I ever see a movie with a dying mom, I’m on the floor. I can’t do Terms of Endearment (1983) – I’ll be a wreck for a week. Jon Hamm : Well, c’mon, if I want to win awards, let’s talk gay Now, if I were a mentally disabled gay man, I’d hit all the boxes. If there’s a great part out there, sure. For me, it’s much more about being a part of telling a great story. After the first audition for Mad Men , I said, “I will do any part in this script.” I just wanted to be a part of telling this story.
