Javier Bardem epitomizes the ultimate in raw Spanish male sex appeal.

Javier Bardem is the new Bond Villain.

Sizzling Spanish actor Javier Bardem has been confirmed as the villain in Bond 23, the next James Bond film. He’ll join the ranks of the franchise’s hot Bonds and Bond girls, but he also has some company in the sexy Bond bad guy arena. Sure they’re evil and sometimes scarred, but we’re strangely attracted to them anyway. Maybe it’s the sexy suits, foreign accents, and big guns.

Stats

Born: Javier Ángel Encinas Bardem on March 1, 1969 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.

Occupation: Actor

Height: 6′

Weight: 185 lbs

Never one to have desired a career in Hollywood, Spanish actor Javier Bardem took his time making movies that he enjoyed. In fact, Bardem was downright picky in choosing his roles. Whether playing an openly gay author forced into exile from Cuba in “Before Night Falls” (2000), an idealistic policeman hunting an enigmatic terrorist in “The Dancer Upstairs” (2003), a quadriplegic fighting for his right to die in “The Sea Inside” (2004) or a psychotic killer flipping coins for people’s lives in “No Country For Old Men” (2007), Bardem made sure to sate his creative urges rather than going for a big payday. The result of his unbending taste was a vibrant career that earned him a slew of awards, critical praise and accolades from peers rushing to proclaim him one of the most gifted and talented actors of his generation.
